Nashville’s Best Air Duct Cleaning Power
Duct Doctor USA of Nashville offers professional, award winning service for residential and commercial duct cleaning! We send two uniformed technicians to your home or business. On arrival, you’ll immediately notice our patented vacuum truck in the driveway. One of the technicians will begin to run a series of heavy duty hoses to connect our truck's vacuum to your duct work. This avoids us bringing large cumbersome vacuums and equipment inside. Once the truck is operating, the duct work is put under negative pressure or suction.
The second technician is removing and covering vent covers, and prepping for the air duct cleaning. They will then insert the high-velocity air sweeper in the duct-work, which acts as an agitation device to dislodge any dirt and debris from the ducts. They will use a high pressure blasting tool to move the dislodged dust and debris to the truck’s hose. This positive pressure gives our vacuum additional power to remove the dust and debris.
We perform this “Source Removal” process on both the return air and supply air of your duct work to ensure all debris and contaminants are removed from the duct system.
Air Duct Cleaning Is About More Than Just a Vacuum
Did you know that contaminants like dust, pet dander, and mold could be circulating in your air heating and cooling systems?
Regular air duct cleaning can remove contaminants like pet dander and dust that will result in a longer life and better performance from your HVAC unit.
Did you know that, in a typical six-room home, 40 pounds of dust is created annually through everyday living?
You should clean your duct work if:
• You notice a musty odor when the furnace is on
• You have allergies
• Dust accumulates quickly
• You have pets
Did you know that ducts can act as a collection source for a variety of vermin, such as rodents (and droppings), spiders, bugs, and small particles of dust. The removal of such contaminants should be considered one component in an overall plant to improve indoor air quality.
Did you know that dirty ducts can aggravate allergies? Dirty ducts may contribute to health issues that could cause serious problems for people with respiratory health conditions, autoimmune disorders or some environmental allergies.
Did you know that clean ducts save energy! 25-40% of the energy used for heating or cooling a home is wasted, according to the US Department of Energy. Contaminants in the heating and cooling system cause it to work harder and shorten the life of your HVAC system. Although filters are used, the heating and cooling system still gets dirty through normal use.
